MARCH 2019 FILM SHOOT

Dear Telegraph Hill Residents,

Thank you so much for sharing your concerns with us about our initial filming details for the Lionsgate

TV pilot musical. We have been working with the City of SF, Telegraph Hill Dwellers, North Beach

Neighbors and North Beach Business Association based on new production details and timelines and

we want invite you to an informational Meet & Greet THU March 14th at Broadway Studios (435

Broadway) from 6:00 – 7:30P. During this time, the Film SF Office and I will be available to chat about

the following film details, as well as any concerns you have associated with our filming requests. Here is

a list of topics that we will discuss at the Meet & Greet:

• Filming on Montgomery and Union to take place MON 4/1 between the hours of 7A – 7P.

Based on changes in production details and input from residents, we can allow residential traffic

into and out of our proposed closure during filming. Delays however, will be heavier between

the hours of 9A – 3P when we are filming the large dance number. Normal commute rush hours

should have less delay because of rehearsal time and the time we expect to complete the filming.

• We have requested to cancel the bus that runs on Union to the top of the hill, HOWEVER

production is providing a van bridge that will run from 7A – 7P while bus is cancelled to shuttle

people to regular stops and into closure.

• Because of parking impact, we will provide parking locations outside our closure at local

garages (we will announce these as soon as we have finalized the deals with these garages). We

will provide van shuttle service from these garages between 7A – 7P on MONDAY April 1, and

parking in these garages will be available the day prior to filming and after so cars can park

before our closure starts, and after it ends.

• If you need to pay for a taxi, or ride share service during our day of filming, we will reimburse

the cost of those trips. Just retain your receipt, and we will pay cash for that receipt.

• Additional filming that will occur SUNDAY March 31st on Columbus Ave between Union and

Vallejo.

holding “office hours” at Caffe Trieste on MON 3/25 and TUE 3/26 from 6P- 7P if you

have any questions.
