North Beach Neighbors (NBN) is a San Francisco non-profit organization that provides a forum for more than 200 North Beach residents, local businesses, and civic leaders to discuss local neighborhood concerns such as land use, development, parks and recreation, and beautification.
Major Activities:
- Preserve the local charm, the small business character, and open space in North Beach
- Provide public testimony on zoning and construction/development issues
- Collaborate with the local police department to reduce crime.
- Support Neighborhood Emergency Response Team (NERT) earthquake preparedness training and other trainings
- Support historic preservation and Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center
- Create friendship and good times: Holiday party, potluck, City-wide Neighborhood Night at the Symphony
Attend a NBN meeting:
Board meetings are open to all members, and held at Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center on the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm.
